The Integrated Assessment Survey Protocol
The Survey Protocol is the key quantitative component of the TransformationalSafety.Com Integrated Safety Culture Assessment. By taking advantage of the powerful survey technologies developed by TransformationalSafety.Com we are able to offer a product which is unparalleled in its ability to combine a high level of result certainty with an unprecedented analysis of safety leadership. The fact that we survey between 90-100% of the organisation, within a small temporal window, adds unprecedented value over those systems which might try and use a random sampling approach.
The Survey Protocol uses wireless delivery systems to ensure maximal validity of individual results. There is no reliance upon levels of literacy and/or IT familiarity. What this means is that the final collations of survey results back to the customer have the highest levels of certainty that can be attained via a survey methodology.
TransformationalSafety.Com strongly promotes and endorses the use of the wireless survey system as the primary means of group data collection for the reason described. We acknowledge though that there may be some circumstances where this is just not possible. In such situations the Survey Protocol can be implemented using a web based system which is custom developed for each delivery. If you wish to preview the survey experience you may contact us directly and we shall forward you a unique access token for your personal use. As this is for "experience" only you shall not be able to save your responses.
It is also possible that some organisations may have issues with being able to participate via the web based system. In such circumstances we also have an emailable forms system using Adobe PDF technologies.
When all else fails we can provide the Transformational Safety Survey as a "paper and pencil" to be posted in for compilation.
Thirty two years since Bhopal, thirty years since Chernobyl, twenty eight since Piper Alpha and what have we learned?
Not much. After all, we have seen Texas City, Macondo, the Soma mine collapse, the Lac-Mégantic rail disaster, and the list just goes on - all in the last ten years or so. Clearly what we have been doing has not been working.
